One Loudoun-Downtown (Loudoun, VA)
Potomac Development Group is the Development Manager working with Miller & Smith and North American Sekisui House LLC (“NASH”) on the development of the 1 Million SF Downtown section of the 5 Million SF ONE LOUDOUN project. The Downtown section of One Loudoun will include retail, restaurant, theater, office, hotel and residential uses.  Phase I is now under construction and will consist of 220,000 SF, focusing on theater, retail, restaurant and office uses, including the first ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE CINEMA in metropolitan Washington, DC, which is now open.  Please click HERE or see www.oneloudoun.com for additional details on the project.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (Ashburn, VA)
Howard Hughes Medical Institute Potomac Development Group is assisting at the Janelia Farm Research Campus of Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Ashburn, VA with the development management and construction management of this $21+ Million, 80,000-SF apartment building for visiting and resident scientists. This high-quality building was designed by WDG Architecture and constructed by Dietze Construction Group and Suffolk Construction Inc. It incorporates a Hambro composite steel and concrete structural system, a “rain screen” design for its exterior wall, and covered parking. It is designed to achieve a LEED Platinum designation. Completion and occupancy is scheduled for 2011. “Opened in 2006 as HHMI’s first freestanding campus, Janelia Farm provides an interdisciplinary research environment for scientists studying how networks of brain cells work together to enable complex behaviors, and the development of new technologies for imaging and data analysis.”

Adams Morgan Mixed-Use Project (Washington, DC)
Adams Morgan Potomac Development Group is the Development Manager for a mixed-use project with 75 residential units over 15,000 SF of retail space on Columbia Road, NW, in Washington DC.

George Mason University (Prince William Campus)
George Mason University Potomac Development Group is the retail development consultant to Gilbane Development Company for an innovative, mixed-use, public-private partnership at George Mason University’s Prince William Campus. “Mason” is Virginia’s fastest growing and largest state University. Dining options and retail services are in high demand on the 2200-student campus as well as in the surrounding Innovation Business Park, which boasts over 2100 daytime employees. This new building, with 15,000 SF of retail and dining space on the ground level of a 5-story, 106,000 SF building, is located adjacent to the beautiful Hylton Center for the Performing Arts. The residence hall is now occupied and several restaurant spaces are signed and are expected to be open in early 2014. Dining space will include outdoor seating in a pleasant, plaza setting. PDG principals, through their affiliation with KW Commercial, are also providing exclusive leasing service for Gilbane for this retail and restaurant space.
